1- Your Faith

"O all you who believe,
believe in God and His Messenger,
and the Book that He has sent
down to His Messenger,
and the Book that He had previously
sent down.
Whoever disbelieves in God,
His angels, His Books, His Messengers
and the Last Day
has indeed gone far astray
(from the Truth)."4:136

"O all you who believe,
obey God and obey the Messenger,
and those of you in authority.
And if you are in dispute
over any issue,
refer it to God and to the Messenger,
if you (truly) believe in God
and the Last Day,
this is good (for now),
and better for you in the long run."4:59

"O all you who believe,
remember God often,
and glorify Him
morning and evening.
It is He who blesses you,
as do His angels,
to bring you forth,
from darkness into light,
as He is All-Merciful to the believers.
Their greeting,
on the Day they meet Him will be
"Peace!"
and He has prepared for them,
a generous reward."33:41-44

"O all you who believe,
turn to God in sincere repentence,
in the hope that your Lord would remit for you
your evil deeds,
and would admit you into Gardens,
beneath which rivers flow.
As on that Day (of Judgement),
God will not disappoint the Prophet
and whoever believes in him.
As their light is beaming,
in front of them and to their right,
and as a result of their faith they say:
"Our Lord, perfect our light
for us and forgive us,
surely You are capable of everything."66:8

"O all you who believe,
save yourselves and your families
from the Fire, whose fuel is
people and stones,
and over which there are appointed angels,
who are stern and harsh,
and who do not disobey God,
in what He ordered them,
and they do what they are commanded to do.
O all you who do not believe,
make no excuses today (the Day of Judgement),
you are merely rewarded for whatever
you have done."66:6-7

"O all you who believe,
fear God as He should be feared,
and do not die without being
in a state of Islam."3:102

"O all you who believe,
if you achieve piety towards God,
He will grant you a criterion,
(to distinguish between right and wrong),
absolve your bad deeds,
and forgive you,
as God has the great bounty."8:29

"O all you who believe,
remain God-fearing,
seek the means to come close to Him,
and strive for His sake,
so that you may be successful."5:35

"O all you who believe,
remember God's favour upon you."5:11

"O all you who believe,
let neither your wealth nor your children,
distract you from remembering God,
as those who do that are the losers.
And spend (in Our Way)
from what We have provided you,
before death comes to any of you,
saying "O my Lord, if you would only
delay death for a short while so I can give
charity and be among the righteous".
Nay, God will never defer taking any soul,
when its time has come,
God is fully aware of all that you do."63:9-11

"O all you who believe,
Be God's helpers,
just as Jesus, son of Mary
when he asked the disciples:
"Who will be my helpers towards God?",
The disciples said:
"We are God's helpers".
Then a group of the children of Israel believed,
and another group disbelieved.
So We assisted those who believed,
against their enemy, till they prevailed.".61:14

"O all you who believe,
shall I tell you of a trade,
that will save you
from painful torment?
You believe in God
and His Messenger,
and you strive for God's sake
with your wealth and your lives.
That is indeed better for you,
if only you knew.
As He will forgive your sins,
and admit you into Gardens,
beneath which rivers flow,
and beautiful homes
in Gardens of Eternity.
That is indeed the supreme triumph.
And you will get another favour
you will love to have;
Help from God and a victory close at hand.
Thus give (O Muhammed) glad tidings,
to the believers."61:10-13

"O all you who believe,
enter totally into peace (with God,
by surrendering yourself to Him,
in state of Islam),
and do not follow Satan's footsteps,
as indeed he is clearly your enemy"2:208

"O all you who believe,
if you help God,
God will help you,
and bless your footsteps in support".47:7

2- Practicing Your Faith

"O all you who believe,
seek help,
by practicing perseverence,
and by performing Salah (prayer),
God is with all those
who practice perseverence."2:153

"O all you who believe,
whenever you intend to perform Salah (prayer),
first wash your face and hands up to the elbows,
wipe off your heads,
and wash your feet up to the ankles.
And if you are in the state of Janaba
(after sexual discharge),
then take a full bath to purify yourselves.
But if you are sick or travelling,
or any of you has come from the toilet,
or had sexual contact with your spouses,
and you do not find any water
then resort to clean sand or earth,
and with it wipe your face and hands."5:6

"O all you who believe,
bow down and prostrate yourselves
and worship your Lord,
and do good deeds,
so that you may be successful.
And strive for God's cause,
in the best possible way.
He has chosen you,
and has not placed any difficulties upon you
in practicing your religion,
the religion of your father Abraham,
who has named you Muslims,
both before and after (this revelation).
That the Messenger would be a witness over you,
and you may be a witness over humankind.
So perform Salah (prayer) regularly,
give Zakah (charity),
and adhere firmly to God's guidance,
as He is your Lord Supreme,
the best Lord Supreme,
and the best Supporter."22:77-78

"O all you who believe,
when the call for prayer is made on Friday,
hasten to remember God,
and leave trading aside,
as this is better for you,
if only you knew."62:9

"O all you who believe,
spend (in Our way) out of what
We have provided you,
before a Day comes along,
in which there will be no bargaining,
nor friendship, nor intercession.
The disbelievers are indeed the evildoers."2:254

"O all you who believe,
do not deprive your charitable deeds
(of God's rewards),
by reminding others of your generosity,
or by hurting (the feelings of the needy),
and do not be like those
who spend their wealth,
only to be praised by people,
as they do not believe in God,
nor in the Last Day."2:264

"O all you who believe,
fasting (during the month of Ramadan),
has been prescribed for you,
just as it was prescribed for those before you,
so you may attain piety."2:183

"Verily, God and His angels,
bless the Prophet,
O all you who believe,
also ask for him to be blessed,
and wish him all peace."33:56

stand up for justice,

fear God and be among
those who are truthful."9:119

He will correct your deeds for you,

Whoever obeys God and His Messenger,
has already won a splendid triumph."33:70-71

"O all you who believe,
if an ungodly person relays news to you,
investigate lest you harm people,
out of ignorance,
lest you regret and feel guilty later,
for what you have done."49:6

"O all you who believe,
no group (of men) shall make fun of another,
as perhaps they could be better than themselves,
nor a group of women make fun of another,
as perhaps they could be better than themselves,
or should you find fault with one another,
nor insult one another by name-calling.
The worst name is the one indicating wickedness,
after accepting the faith.
Those who do not repent,
are the evildoers."49:11

"O all you who believe,
avoid much suspicion,
in some cases suspicion is a sin,
and do not spy on each other,
and do not backbite each other;
would any of you like to eat
his dead brother's flesh?
Nay you would abhor it.
Fear God, as God is the Acceptor of repentence,
the All-Merciful".49:12

"O all you who believe,

Fear God,
to Whom you all shall be gathered."58:9

even though they have rejected the Truth
that has come to you."60:1

"O all you who believe,
be always conscious of God,
and every soul should consider
what it has prepared for the morrow.
Be always conscious of God,
as God is fully aware of everything you do.
And do not be like those
who have forgotten God,
so He caused them to forget about their souls.
Such people are the rebellious transgressors."
59:18-19

"O all you who believe,
why do you preach something,
you are not practicing yourselves?
Very hateful is it to God,
that you preach what you do not practice."61:2-3

4- Your Life

"O all you who believe,
using intoxicants, gambling,
worshipping idols and using raffles,
are all of Satan's filthy work,
so avoid all of them,
so that you may be successful."5:90

"O all you who believe,
it is not lawful for you
to inherit from wives
against their will,
do not hinder them from re-marrying,
so that you can make off with part
of what you have given them,
unless they commit
a flagrant sexual misconduct.
Live with them in kindness
and equity,
even if you dislike them,
as you may dislike something,
in which God has placed
a great deal of good."4:19

"O all you who believe,
do not take for friends the disbelievers,
instead of the believers."4:144

eat of the good things
that We have provided for you,

if it is He whom you worship."2:172

for a stated time period,
then do it in writing."2:282
