In contrast to the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, the Quran was delivered by a single person, Prophet Muhammad, over a time span of 23 years. He recited what he heard from angel Gabriel. Both the Jewish and Christian books are collections of many books that were written down by a large number of people, who did not live at the same time or in the same place.
